Interview with Sandrine Sarfati, Travel Advisor at Planitour
Exclusively Yours, a luxury hospitality representation agency, invites you to discover our interview with Sandrine Sarfati, Travel Advisor at Planitour. Today, Sandrine shares the captivating story of her journey through Greece, where she had the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable stay at the hotels of the Myconian Collection.
Could you introduce yourself and your agency?
My name is Sandrine, and I am a Travel Advisor at Planitour, a travel agency located in Paris' 9th arrondissement. We are a generalist agency and an official Club Med partner. Our clientele is mainly composed of high-net-worth travelers.
You recently stayed at several Myconian Collection hotels. Could you tell us about your overall experience?
I had the opportunity to stay at two properties: Myconian Imperial and Myconian Utopia. One of the first things I discovered was the Myconian shuttle service, which I thought was a fantastic concept. Beach access is included in the room rate, which is a real advantage because guests know exactly what to expect financially. They can plan their budget in advance and stick to it.
Elia Beach, Mykonos Town or Ornos?
Personally, I would choose Elia Beach because I enjoy peaceful surroundings. That said, I would probably spend one or two nights in Ornos as well.
How was the dining experience?
Honestly, it was excellent. Whether it was breakfast, where there was an incredible variety of options, or the salads and light dishes served on the beach, everything was absolutely delicious. A special mention goes to the oregano fries, they were fantastic. I also enjoyed a romantic dinner at Myconian Utopia, where both the service and the cuisine were outstanding. We even discovered white eggplants, which were absolutely delicious. Across all the restaurants within the Myconian Collection, the level of service was consistently excellent.
I also selected Myconian Royal, as it offers kosher dining twice a year, which is a real added value for my Jewish clients.
Which hotel would you most like to return to?
I completely fell in love with Myconian O. The photos on Booking and other websites may appear quite dark, but in reality, that's not the case at all. It's a modern black aesthetic with a unique design unlike anything else. The décor is simply incredible.
I truly fell in love with this hotel. It features a private sandy beach just steps from the pool, and every room category, from the standard rooms to the suites, is absolutely beautiful. I genuinely loved everything about it.
In your opinion, which hotel is best suited for families?
I also stayed at Myconian Imperial, which is ideal for families while remaining wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Myconian Villa Collection is another excellent option, with an even stronger focus on family stays.
Which hotel would you recommend for younger travelers?
For younger guests, I would recommend Myconian Ambassador, as it is located close to Mykonos' most popular beaches. Personally, I wasn't as fond of the décor, but I suppose I'm no longer in my twenties! Younger travelers absolutely love it, and I have many clients aged between 20 and 30 who choose this hotel.
A heartfelt thank you to Sandrine and the entire Planitour team for their continued trust. We are delighted to look after Planitour's clients throughout the year as part of the commercial representation and marketing partnership entrusted to us by the Myconian Collection.
